“I enjoy working with mixed media, building up layers and textures to form interesting, colourful and sometimes subtly abstract illustrations which evoke atmosphere. I use type as an integral part of my illustrations, sometimes used as backgrounds or as part of the image. "My inspiration comes from many things including nature and landscapes with the interplay of light, colour and form. My most recent work has been on canvas. I am also currently working on writing and illustrating a children’s book”

Sarah completed a Foundation Course at Bath College of Art and Design followed by a BA Hons in Illustration at the University of Portsmouth. Since graduating in 2002, Sarah has started to sell her illustrations.

Sarah now lives on the outskirts of Bath with her fiance Daniel, Jack Russell dog, 20 year old cat, 2 guinea pigs and tropical fish.
